The Martha Farrell Foundation is looking for an energetic, motivated and ambitious Partnership Co-ordinator with a commitment to gender empowerment and keen interest in working on development programs to counter sexual and gender-based violence.

Your primary role will be to support the Foundation’s Director with:

 Co-developing and co-leading the Making Workplaces Safe program to create safe, conducive and sexual-harassment-free workplaces, particularly in the North Indian region

 Building compelling proposals for the Making Workplaces Safe program and seeking new partnerships to take forward the program objectives

 Managing partner relations through effective and timely communications with partners

 Co-developing training design and delivering training, as required, on issues related to gender mainstreaming in organisations, and the SHW Act, 2013

 Reporting and communications for the Making Workplaces Safe program

Additionally, you will also:

 Support the Lead - Programs with overseeing, reporting, storytelling and monitoring and evaluation, of different programs and projects undertaken by the Foundation

 Ideate and lead execution of advocacy strategies to improve safety from sexual and gender-based violence on-the-ground as well as digitally, with team members and organisation partners

 Build and maintain partnerships with allied organisations, and develop new collaborative projects to meet the larger goal of gender justice

 Provide advice and support to the Communications Officer to ensure timely and effective promotion of the Foundation’s programs and initiatives

The Martha Farrell Foundation supports practical interventions committed to achieving a gender-just society, eliminate sexual and gender-based violence and promoting lifelong learning. Through its programs, the Foundation engages with adolescents, young adults/students in higher educational institutions, employees, as well as institutions including corporates, government and non-profit organisations, to ensure a holistic, participatory approach to creating safe institutions and environments for all. Every year, the Foundation hosts the Martha Farrell Awards, recognising and providing a platform to allies in the movement for gender justice. 

Required:

 At least 3 years of work experience in any field, with a proven track record of taking the lead on projects, campaigns and programs

 Excellent communication skills in English and working knowledge of Hindi. Knowledge of other languages will be a plus

 Ability to design strategies and tactics for the marketing of products and services

 Working knowledge of digital and traditional marketing channels and opportunities

 Skills to write effective, short and high quality emails and reports

 Working knowledge of numbers and impact measurement in line with the campaign or program objectives

 Experience and willingness to work with a diverse set of people with different abilities and understanding

 Sensitivity to issues of gender and sexual and gender-based violence

 Time management skills and ability to prioritise working within deadlines

 Ability to take on a leadership role in a non-threatening and non-confrontative manner

 The position will be held in New Delhi
