I give leadership to the Martha Farrell Foundation, and its programs to support informal, migrant workers, and thier adolescent children to build their leadership and collective voice against injustice. I have nearly 30 years of experience in promoting gender inclusion in governance, management and leadership of organisations. I specialise in mentoring institutions to create gender equal workplaces, compliant with the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013.

Writer, poet, and believer in change. I am a certified participatory trainer and use art in conducting workshops on self, gender, sexual health, and sexual and gender-based violence. I have a Master's degree in Social Work from Jamia Millia Islamia and love to bring my academic learnings to practice. My love for listening and enabling motivates me to community-based interventions. Dreamer about a better world, and an admirer of integrity.

I am a certified trainer on gender with experience of training more than 500 women on various facets of gender through various modules. With a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Delhi, I have come to appreciate the power of sustained efforts and community participation in bringing about a long-lasting impact on the lives of individuals, particularly at the grassroots level. I have a keen interest in using research as a tool to bring out new perspectives and knowledge which can contribute to understanding an issue more comprehensively. Apart from work, I love to cook and care for my plants which provide a sense of solace and joy in my life.

A self-taught artist, graphic designer, and someone who perceives the world through the lens of art, I am driven to bring about positive change at the grassroots level. With a Master's degree in Social Work, I possess a profound comprehension of the intricate challenges experienced by marginalized communities. My dedication lies in fostering sustainable solutions. Currently, I am working with adolescents in the Kadam Badhate Chalo (KBC) Program at the Martha Farrell Foundation.

Yogita Hiranandani

I provide coordination support for all of the Foundation's program activities, accounting, and reporting. I am a certified trainer on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights, and Menstrual Hygiene Management and have also led CV-making workshops with women domestic workers partnered with the Martha Farrell Foundation. I have a background in BCOM from the University of Delhi and an MCOM from IGNOU. In my spare time, I love to listen to music and dance.

I am a queer feminist practitioner with four years of experience in the development sector. I hold a degree in Labour Studies and Social Protection from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences and am passionate about using my research and advocacy skills in my work. My focus is on exploring and advancing feminist approaches to fundraising, with a particular interest in using newer means for fundraising. I embrace care as both a guiding principle and a political stance. Outside work, I like to run, dance, and read.

Off the clock, you’ll find me geeking out over cinema, humming a tune, playing instruments, or capturing the world through my lens.

I'm a women's rights activist who has consistently raised her voice on the issue of gender equality and violence against women in Haryana. Together with about 40,000 youth, women and men, who joined the Martha Farrell Foundation, I raised my voice for equality and to stop gender-based violence. We facilitated poster painting, drama, safety audits, and group discussions under the Kadam Badhate Chalo program.

Sarita Devi

Sarita Devi

I am a domestic worker, social rights activist, and community leader based in Gurgaon’s Harijan Basti. Closely associated with MFF since 2016, I have helped collectivize nearly 1000 women domestic workers in the basti to advocate for their rights and voices, including leading the Postcard Campaign in 2020 to demand safer working conditions for domestic workers everywhere. I've also led various focus group discussions and represented domestic workers at various national and international platforms.

Originally from Tamil Nadu, I've been living in Delhi for nearly three decades. Before aligning myself with the National Domestic Workers Movement, I was a translator with a South Indian news channel, and a tutor for school-going children. Over the last three years, I've been working as a facilitator and mobilizer with women domestic workers. I worked closely with the community to resolve exacerbated challenges of the COVID pandemic, and coordinated relief distribution that reached over 1000 women domestic workers and their families during the second wave.

I'm a community activist for a women's group working in collaboration with women from self-help groups at Bichpadi in Patitkaliana, Haryana to educate women about economic savings and lead them into employment. I've been working with the foundation to promote gender equality and women's violence and employment of women by teaching sewing to women through sewing centers with Self-Help Groups
